Check Robertson County VINELink

Kentucky runs a free statewide custody service called VINE. A VINELink Robertson County search works by name or ID to locate a specific person after a local arrest. It covers participating jails and state prisons. Free alerts are part of it. Notice can cover release, transfer, or other changes. The service is not a countywide booking feed, a photo gallery, or a final court record. A very fresh arrest may not show up while transport and booking are still underway, so confirm a surprising status with the facility.

Robertson County VINELink Coverage

Kentucky's version of the service goes by VINE. Public access runs through VINELink, with telephone help at 1-800-511-1670. The Kentucky Department of Corrections says VINE pulls data from participating jail booking systems, prisons, mental-health facilities, and juvenile sources where applicable. The Attorney General calls it a round-the-clock custody source. When a record exists, it can show custody status, release information, and the holding institution's address or phone number.

None of that guarantees coverage. A Robertson County arrest booked at Bourbon County Regional Detention Center may not sit in VINE at every moment. Public state materials make no such promise. Test it yourself with a name search. If nothing comes back, check the spelling first. Then try a known jail or corrections ID, or call Bourbon detention or the agency that made the arrest. The Robertson County Sheriff, Mount Olivet Police, and Kentucky State Police create the arrest record. Bourbon holds the local custody record.

Check a Robertson Arrest

Search for one person, not a countywide scan. VINELink is built to find a specific record and support alerts tied to it. A partial name helps when spelling is shaky. A jail, offender, or Kentucky DOC identifier can separate people who share a common name. Never pick a match on the name alone. Compare the holding facility and every identifier the result shows. A Robertson arrest can lead to booking at the regional facility in Paris. Jurisdiction and Bourbon custody may sit in different records.

  1. Open VINELink and select Kentucky.
  2. Choose “Find an Offender,” or the current equivalent.
  3. Enter a partial or full name, or a known jail or DOC ID.
  4. Compare the name, facility, identifiers, and status for each match.
  5. Open the correct result and note the custody location and check time.
  6. Confirm an unexpected result with the listed facility.

The same person can hold two records. A local jail record and a Kentucky DOC record can both exist for one arrest. The DOC FAQ suggests registering against both when both appear. A DOC number is not a booking number. Neither one matches a Robertson court case number. For the booking source and records path, use the Robertson County recent arrests hub. The VINELink search interface starts with a state and a named-person search. It is not a booking photo display.

What Kentucky VINELink Shows

Treat any VINELink result as a snapshot. Custody status shifts as the facility updates its records, so a match today may look different tomorrow. The system covers the basics well: custody status, release details when available, and institution contact information. It does not supply a full arrest report, booking photo, charge history, or court disposition. Note the time of the check, and use the facility name to tell local detention apart from state prison custody.

Result itemHow to read it
Name and identifierUse both to separate people with similar names. The ID may belong to a jail or DOC system.
Custody statusA participating agency’s reported state, not proof of the charge or case result.
Facility or locationThe institution reporting custody. Bourbon may hold a Robertson arrestee outside the county.
Release informationA date or status when available. Confirm an unexpected change with the facility.
Institution contactThe address or phone supplied for an in-custody person, when shown.
Notification optionsStatus events offered for that record, which can vary by source agency.

VINE does not replace the Bourbon Cadmus current inmate list. Cadmus is the official route from the detention site. It shows current detainees and lists charges and bond. VINE adds named-person status and alerts instead. Someone released may drop off the roster while a court case or agency record lives on, since the two systems answer different questions.

Register Robertson Custody Alerts

Open the correct record first. Then choose "Notify Me of Status Changes" or the comparable button in the current interface. Enter a working phone number or email and pick the status events you want. Phone registration issues a four-digit PIN. Keep it private but within reach. Official guidance says an unanswered automated call may leave a message and keep trying for 24 hours until the PIN acknowledges it, so calls can come at any hour.

  1. Verify the person and facility before registering.
  2. Select the record’s notification control.
  3. Choose phone, email, or the current contact methods.
  4. For phone notice, create and save the four-digit PIN.
  5. Follow the confirmation prompt and review the selected events.
  6. Register a second record if both jail and DOC entries exist.

Use your own number, not a switchboard. Kentucky materials say the person in custody never learns who registered. Older official descriptions mention repeated release calls and longer attempts for state institutions. Those are patterns, not promises. Follow the live prompts. The Kentucky VINE help line can also finish a registration for you, and the Kentucky Department of Corrections VINE page explains phone registration, the PIN, and automated notice.

Fresh Robertson Arrests May Lag

Fresh arrests rarely show up in VINE right away. A person booked in Robertson County still has to move through transport first. Identification and classification come next. Bourbon County Regional Detention Center holds most of these detainees. Its current inmate portal is worth a look. Then call the detention center or the arresting agency when timing truly matters. Nobody publishes a fixed interval between the arrest and the public record.

An empty search proves little on its own. The name may have been spelled differently, or the booking may still be in progress. Sometimes the update simply has not been sent yet. Robertson County offers no sheriff app and no same-day booking feed. There is no Mount Olivet arrest log either. The Robertson arrests last 24 hours workflow covers that gap and the same-day confirmation path. One more caution: never guess an arrest time from when a record turns visible.

Robertson VINELink Limits

VINE has clear limits. It is not a federal locator, so anyone moved into Bureau of Prisons custody must be checked through the BOP site. Immigration detention works the same way; the ICE locator covers those holds. Kentucky VINE is not a court search either. Robertson County cases run through the Robertson County Judicial Center even when the person sits at Bourbon. Docket details come from the Kentucky Court of Justice case system or the Circuit Court Clerk.

The service also promises no booking photos, police narratives, or every custody event. Want an arrest report? Contact the Robertson Sheriff or Mount Olivet Police, depending on which agency made the arrest. For current detention, ask Bourbon directly. For a sentence in Kentucky state corrections, Kentucky Online Offender Lookup is the right tool. A detainer, which is another agency's request to hold or notify, may still need a call to that agency.

Verify urgent information. Automated custody data can lag or fail, so contact the facility before acting on a surprising release or transfer notice.

Kentucky VINE Alert Outage

False alarms have happened in Kentucky. A vendor problem once sent incorrect release alerts. VINE was restored in February 2026 after the state addressed it. That single episode does not mean Robertson County records went dark. Nor does it make every alert wrong. What it proves is simpler: one automated message should never be the final word when a status looks strange. Save the message, note its time, then open the live record and call the facility shown.

Confirmation depends on where the booking sits. A Robertson-to-Bourbon transfer means Bourbon County Regional Detention Center. A Kentucky prison result means calling that institution or the Department of Corrections. No match at all? The arresting agency is often the best source while intake is still underway. Free notifications are helpful, but not every booking participates, and transmission timing is never guaranteed.
